I created this board for a fellow knottie who wants to have a Classic and Elegant wedding. The inspiration started with her beautiful Casablanca dress and the fact that she is drawn to red roses.

Board #4 A Korean Celebration

I made this board for another fellow Knottie of mine (you can just assume that about the next 15 boards or so that I create are specifically for some of my fellow knotties - love ya girls!) Knottie ameriasian sent me a picture of her reception hall carpet (the first picture in row 2) and asked me to help her out with colors. She mentioned that she was originally going with a dark blue, light blue and light yellow color scheme but after looking at the carpet I thought it would be great if we bump those colors up a notch. I thought mixing a dark blue with a deeper yellow and a touch of red would look great! She also mentioned she loved orchids and wanted to incorporate her Korean heritage into her big day... this is what I came up with...

Board #3 Backyard Bliss

This board is for another fellow Knottie who is having an intimate summer wedding in her parents' backyard. I personally love more intimate weddings and would have one myself if my family wasn't so darn big! Her fiance will be wearing a kilt so she wanted to pull the green and white colors from that.

Board #2 Happy New Year!

I know... we have quite a few months until the New Year but a fellow Knottie of mine has recently changed her wedding date and needed a little inspiration. She is now having a New Year's Eve wedding (how fun!) and wanted to use the colors Red, Tiffany Blue and Silver. She's going for a modern feel complete with a casino!

I figured I would start off with the inspiration board that I made for my own wedding. My wedding is going to be held at a Tuscan Villa in Atlanta. The ceremony will take place out in the garden and then we'll move into the ballroom for the reception. It is an evening black-tie event.

This is Where it All Begins.....

Yay! My very first post. I guess I should start off by telling you a little bit about me...

I love weddings! I'm actually planning my own wedding right now and I am so excited! Throughout my planning process I constantly have new ideas or designs for a great event. (I've changed my colors a million times because of this!) So, I thought that I would start this blog to hopefully put all of my ideas to good use for another bride. Enjoy!
